Cathy possesses an impressive four decades of experience in hair design, marked by her triumphs in various international competitions such as the Oceanic Masters and being named Hito Hair Dressing Trainer of the Year in both 2015 and 2019. The New Zealand hairdressing industry duly recognises Cathy Davys for her exceptional talents.

What sets Cathy apart is her unwavering passion for her craft, evident in her ability to create stunning looks for bridal and red carpet events, her mastery of cutting techniques, and her invaluable business insights. With an open, honest, and generous approach, Cathy is a natural leader and educator who selflessly shares her knowledge.

Before establishing Cathy Davys Hair Design and Education, Cathy successfully operated her premier salon, ‘Cathy Davys Hair Design and Day Spa,’ in Wellington, New Zealand, for 31 years. In 2011, she made the decision to sell her business to the Vivo group, enabling her to devote herself entirely to hair education.

Now, as a multi-talented hairstylist, Cathy imparts her skills through hands-on workshops that have the power to elevate your career to new heights. To ensure the best training experience, Cathy limits her classes to eight stylists per workshop.
